We were thrilled to be asked to be a part of this themed styled shoot. Think candlelight romance with a slight Titanic theme. All of this taking place at the beautiful 'The Ruins at the Astor'.
This is what I found out about the building:
The Astor Hotel was built in 1921 and envisioned as a modern marvel. A forward-looking, reinforced concrete skyscraper, destined to be the tallest building on the Oregon coast. A tourist destination in its own right, in a town booming with the opening successes of the Modern Era.
Over the next 87 years, pummeled by natural and economic disasters, the building struggled to live up to that vision.
Today, under the leadership of Paul Caruana--a successful designer, builder, and hotelier--the Astor is given a new chance to fulfil that original vision of glory.
Come in! Accept our invitation. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the space where history meets innovation and passion.

UPDATE! Sept 9, 2018 - We are excited to have found out that our collaborative work has been featured on an Aisle Society blog! The photographer shared the Columbia River Gorge Elopement Inspired shoot and we were all published. How exciting. So, I am adding the direct link here: aisleperfect.com/2018/08/colorful-outdoor-wedding-inspiration-on-the-columbia-river.html
This took place at Cascade Locks/Government Cove, a last minute shoot we helped out with a cutting cake. Multiple pinks, orange, and yellow, with hints of deep red!
"Anyone thinking "table goals"? Just me? I am over here swooning over this shoot from last week. I am so thankful for all the vendors that came together to make this amazing shoot happen! Keep an eye out for more images to be shared from this fantastic shoot out in Cascade Locks!"
-Erin Sellard, owner and photographer at Willow Creek Studios!
I am truly amazed at Erin's work, please support her and check out her portfolio on her website: willowcreekstudios.net/
We took a trip up to this venue on the Sunday of the event!
So glad we did! We were going to have the cake picked up, but decided to make a trip out of it. I had never been up to this venue before (although I have been to The Gorge), and it was an absolute D R E A M !
We did some exploring around Historic Columbia River Highway afterwards. If you plan on visiting from out of town -- this area should definitely be on your bucket list!

Overall, I really enjoyed this photographer's light hearted editing.
I really couldn't find anything that was anything but perfection in these shots!
Don't you agree!?!?
Meagan recently made the move from Arizona to Oregon!

I really felt that this photographer had an excellent grasp on BTS
(which by the way, means, 'Behind The Scenes').
Great job, Stephanie!

I saved one of my very favorites for last! Nadia seems to bring every aspect into perfect union. Not just the shots, but the poses, and staging.... colors, depth... you name it! I found her blog on her website, she is currently traveling in Rome,
