This romantic vintage charm styled shoot we took part in was coordinated by Events By Danielle Nichole who excels in coordination & planning. We loved collaborating with all of the creative wedding vendors involved.
While this was a styled shoot it really showed off the details behind the scenes and the intimate moments captured. Sentinel Hotel is one of my favorite hotels and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and served as the filming location for several films in the 90's including 'My Own Private Idaho' and 'Body of Evidence'. We love this charm and the ever so popular cake ruffles! What is American Dream U? American Dream U is a non-profit dedicated to helping our military get the education and access to resources they need to find their dream job or to start a business of their own. The mission is career, business & professional development of our brothers and sisters in arms. Dedicated to bridging the gap between military and civilian. What is Mission: NEXT? Watch the video (below), then come back and listen to our podcast, along with some other helpful and useful links! Don't forget to SHARE! Mission: NEXT 'An American Success Story' This book was written by Phil Randazzo, Founder of American Dream U. Rob and I got involved in this project as I ran across a post on LinkedIn from Melissa Washington, founder of Women Veterans Alliance, a Navy veteran, small business owner, speaker, author, and LinkedIn workshop trainer who was searching for a female veteran owned business to take part in this project. So, of course, I jumped on board to the opportunity. Rob and I were interviewed over the phone to contribute to this project. We are excited to play a part and parlay our military training into civilian success! ....helping others realize their dream of becoming a business owner and entrepreneurial thought-leader. This wedding inspiration shoot took place at Smith Rock State Park (located in Terrebonne), one of Oregon’s Seven Wonders and a must see. The inspiration for this shoot was two words: whimsical romance. Focusing on the delicate intimacy between two people deeply in love and without a care in the world.
Married in real life, this bride and groom really helped to curate this specific look. The bride is wearing a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown, provided by Bridal Exclusives; her look completed with a lovely bouquet by Heirbloom Floral. The handwritten calligraphy invitation suite by Oregon Girl Designs (now Holly Schnackenberg, Art Director) was romantic and simple-exactly how I had envisioned. And the hand brushed cake by Next Dimension Bakery (us!) completed the soft blue and pink pallet for the shoot, pulling everything together. An authentic love combined with a gorgeous natural backdrop helped to showcase the intimate beauty in simplicity when planning an elopement. Needless to say, everything about this shoot was a dream. We love traveling to Central Oregon especially when it qualifies as a business trip road trip! Great excuse to travel and see the wonders of Central Oregon. So many breathtaking areas surrounding. Feel free to ask us if we would deliver your wedding order to you!
